Pharming Healthcare Inc. is a global biopharmaceutical healthcare company committed to improving the lives of patients suffering from rare, debilitating, and life-threatening diseases. One such disease is activated PI3k delta syndrome (APDS), a rare primary immunodeficiency.
Due to the wide range of symptoms and variations in presentation, APDS can be a difficult disease for healthcare professionals (HCPs) to diagnose and is often underdiagnosed.

Awareness can
be life-changing
Since 2020, the ZantZoo team have partnered with the US based Pharming team and their other agency partners to raise awareness of APDS in the US market.
Being a rare disease people with APDS don’t always know they have the disease and it is not easy for HCPs to diagnose. To address this issue, we developed a digital marketing program leveraging insights from patient and healthcare provider communities. The program aimed to raise awareness of the most common APDS symptoms, highlighting that they may indicate an underlying condition and encouraging people to get tested.
Based on initial results and data, we have refined and improved the program’s effectiveness.
